Rachel was so nice to send me a product to review, the organic sugar scrub. So, onto the review!
Touch'd Organic Sugar Scrub in Tropical Paradise (Retail: $36)
I LOVE sugar scrubs, in fact, I'd say I am pretty addicted to them. I buy probably way too many, but I'm always open for more! So, I was really excited when I found out that I would be reviewing the sugar scrub. I just love how they get rid of any dead skin cells and leave my skin smooth and soft. And I'm happy to report that
Touch'd sugar scrub is no different. The scent I got was Tropical Paradise, which smells kind of like grape soda or grape-flavoured candy to me. It is a very nice, summery scent and I love it. Let's take a look at the actual product:
You can imagine how excited I was to take a shower once I got this in the mail! I stirred the scrub up a bit with my finger before I used it so that the essential oils blended with the sugar, because it can separate after a while, but that is no problem. Then, I scooped out a small amount onto my fingers and used it on my arms and shoulders. Once I rinsed it off, my skin felt very smooth and wasn't irritated at all, which is SO good, because I have eczema on my shoulders and arms.

Then, I used it on my poor, rough elbows. All I can say is WOW! It worked very nicely on them! Rachel also recommended using the scrub on my feet, so I did that the other night before I went to bed. I didn't want to stop touching my feet after I rinsed and dried them off, as odd as that sounds! And I am happy to report that my skin still feels soft!
The only cons I have about this product is that my hands felt pretty oily after I applied it on my skin. However, I just had to wash my hands with soap and water to get rid of that feeling. The second is that when I got it in the mail, it jar wasn't sealed so some of the oil leaked through the package and into my mailbox, but I believe that Rachel is working on that issue. Also, it is a bit pricey at $36, but I think it's worth it.
So, all in all, I highly recommend this product to you. It works and smells lovely. Also, it ranks up with my favorite sugar scrub
