How old were you when you first started wearing makeup?

I started wearing makeup just before I turned 13, but it was all dark, dark eyeshadow and liner because I was hiding behind it. Luckily, that phase didn't last long. I guess I "officially" started wearing makeup a little while before I turned 14. Part of me wishes I waited until I was a bit older, but what can ya do?
